Antczak, Robert W. Born to Eternal Life Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at the age of 89 after fighting a battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Schroeder). Preceded in death by parents Frank and Martha and stepmother Eva, first wife Sylvia (Nee Sosnowski), brother Edgar, sister Martha Kowalski and great-grandchild Brandon Giuli (twin to Brady). Survived by his son Thomas (Mary), and brother Ralph (Pat), granddaughters Dawn (Brian) Hense and Nichole (Douglas) Giuli, great-grandchildren Lauren Willman, Savannah Giuli, and Brady Giuli. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs., April 24, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 3222 S. 29th Street, at 10:30 AM. Visitation at the church from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Robert served in World War II with the Army Air Corp from 1942 as a bombardier in China-Burma-India Theater. He joined IBM in 1947, retired as Field Manager in 1979 to St. Germain, WI and later moved to Minocqua, WI, after his marriage to Lois. Member of Madison-EMPY American Legion Post and Father Dodge Council Knights of Columbus. Special thanks to the staff at the Seasons of Life Hospice Home, Woodruff, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Camp American Legion, Lake Tomahawk, WI, for veterans are suggested.
