Jean Sullivan Notice
Sullivan, Jean (Nee Bittner ) Age 91, formerly of Green Bay, died June 7, 2014, in Milwaukee, close to her children. Jean is survived by her children: Mary Margaret, John (Sally), Pat, Tom (Karen Nakasone), Martha (Glen Hankermeyer), Emmett (Teri), Kate (Frank Langley) and Ellen (Barb Arnett). Her grandchildren: Norah (Carlos), Thomas (Meghan), Tara (Shon), Caitlin, Michael (Haydee), Kyle (Laura), Kelsey, Lu, Maya, Samara, Lia, Ellie, Meg (Mike), Jenna and Gabriel and great-grandchildren: Emma, Carlos Mateo and Joaquin. Jean is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Julie, Bunny and Gloria Bittner, nieces, nephews and very dear friends from Green Bay and Milwaukee Catholic Home. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Donel Sullivan MD, her daughter Sarah, her parents, Mate and Joseph Bittner and her brothers Bob, Dick and Tom Bittner. Jean devoted her life to her family, her Catholic faith and her love of books, all of which reflected her passionate concern for the well being of the world. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14, at 10:30 AM at the Milwaukee Catholic Home, St. Anne's Chapel, 2462 N. Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee. Family will greet friends at a reception and luncheon following the Mass at Milwaukee Catholic Home. Burial will take place at Allouez Catholic Cemetery in Green Bay at a later date.
