Hummitzsch, Orval G. Found peace on June 15, 2014, at the age of 91 years. Loving husband of Ingeliese Bauer (nee Grabowski). Preceded in death by his wives Ruth E. Hummitzsch (nee Zittel) and LaVerne W. Henn-Hummitzsch (nee Finney). Survived by his children, Karen (William) Taglienti, Mark (Cynthia) Hummitzsch and Randall Hummitzsch; his grandchildren, Matthew (Amy) Taglienti, Stephanie (Vincent) Caballero, Jill Taglienti (Jeffrey Nass), Laura, Jacob (Jennifer), John (Elizabeth) and Chelsea Hummitzsch; his great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Olivia, Molly, Gabriel, Amber, Shepard and Maple Mae, and his brother Ronald (Mary) Hummitzsch. Further loved by other relatives and friends. Orval was born in Sheboygan. He worked in the construction industry for 15 years. He moved to Milwaukee in 1961 and worked for the City of Milwaukee as a building construction inspector for 25 years. He was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and American Legion Post #449 in Brookfield. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of the U.S. Navy "Seabees" Reserve and a member of the 128th Air Refueling Wing/Wisconsin Air National Guard. Visitation Friday, June 20 from 12-2PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, followed by a Funeral Service at 2PM, Reverend Steven Voigt officiating. Burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Legion Post #449, Brookfield.
