Catherine M. "Kay" Hullinger Notice
Hullinger, Catherine M. "Kay" (Nee Keating ) Kay was born June 1, 1920 in Chicago, IL. Kay entered the fullness of Eternal Life on June 20, 2014, at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Walter J. Hullinger and their son, Kevin. Also proceeded in death by her parents Nora (Crowley) and Daniel M. Keating, brothers Michael and William, and sister Ann. Loving mother of Diane (John) Clark and Janis (Charles) McCaskey. Dear grandmother to Kimberly (Adam) Stephens and Kelley McCaskey. Loving great-grandmother to Riley, Quinn, Nolan, and Kalyja, Nicoya, and Gideon. Kay was a long-time Marco Island and North Shore resident. She was a member of St. Monica's Parish and Ozaukee Country Club where she was a member of the women's Hole-In-One Club. Kay was devoted to her family and friends. She will be remembered as a person with strong faith, a terrific sense of humor and a love of everything Irish. For the last few years, Kay resided at Alexian Village. Our family wishes to thank Karen at Alexian Village and the wonderful ladies from Rent-a-Daughter for the support and loving care they provided. Finally, we wish to thank the staff from Allay Hospice who were so gentle and caring in Kay's final hours. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26 at Alexian Village, The Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 9301 N. 76th Street, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon.
