Weinhold, Otis "Bill" Otis "Bill" Weinhold, age 87, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 surrounded by the family who loved him. Born October 24, 1926 to Otis Sr. and Ola (Kobiske) Weinhold in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the oldest of 5 children. Otis served in the
on the ship tender USS Markab as a machinist mate. He met his wife, Cecelia Ann Prekop and married in 1948 in Cudahy, Wisconsin. After military service, he graduated from Marquette University and continued his long career in the food service industry in St. Francis, where he and members of his family ran Ola's Food Store. Otis "Bill" Weinhold, was a prominent figure in the St. Francis community, was proud of his accomplishments as a local business leader, a commissioner in the St. Francis Police and Fire departments, and as a founding member of the St. Francis Lions Club. Preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia, brothers, Kenneth, Thomas, sisters, Darlene , Dolly and grandsons John and Jason Weinhold. He is survived by son William; daughter, Carol (William) Talatzko; son John, son Anthony (Susan) and daughter Jayne (James) Nisiewicz, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Joseph Matusinec, sisters-in-law Charlene Weinhold and Irene Pavlik. Special thank you to family friends, Harlyn J. Kuschel, WELS Pastor, Lori Weinhold, Linda Steinke and George and Phyllis George. A private memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held for members of the immediate family. If so desired, memorials in Bill's name may be made to the
