Kordus, Robert P. "Bob" Born to eternal life on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, age 77 years. Loving husband for 56 years to Caroll (nee Swiatek). Proud dad of Robert Jr. (Annette), Peter (Nettie), Karen (Brian) Konopka, Jan Wroblewski and Kris Kordus. Wonderful "Papa" of Robert III and Rachel Kordus; Katrina, Lauren and Natalie Konopka; Andrew, Kimberly, Zak and Emmy Wroblewski. Fond brother of Ben (Lee) Kordus. Dear brother-in-law of Donna Tandetzke and Dennis (Bonnie) Swiatek. Preceded in death by his parents, Benedict and Marie Kordus; and his father and mother-in-law, Ray and Catherine Swiatek. Also survived by other family and friends. Bob was a former Wisconsin State Assemblyman (1964-68) and a City of Milwaukee Alderman (1968-76) for the 14th District and a retiree of Wisconsin Electric (EMSBLA). He was a proud member of the Milwaukee Lake Lions Club, recipient of the Boy Scouts Sliver Beaver Award, a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and many other organizations. Visitation on Saturday, May 27, 2017, 9:30-10:45 AM at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC PARISH, 16000 W. National Ave, New Berlin. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow St. Adalbert Cemetery.
