Barbara Clauer Obituary

Clauer, Barbara Joan (Nee Novotny) Of West Bend, formerly of Pewaukee, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010, at Kathy Hospice, at the age of 80 years. She was born January 18, 1930, to Carl and Adele (nee Geiersbach) Novotny. On June 26, 1948, she married Vernon K. Clauer in Milwaukee. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, loved sewing, but especially loved being the best Mom to her children, grandchildren and great - grandchildren. Survivors include her children Roger (Eileen) of Waukesha, Diane (John) Hauser of New Berlin and Susan (Brian) Sabers of Durango, Iowa; six grandchildren, Kate (Jason) Gschneidmeier, Kimberly, James, Jordan, Quiana and Isaiah; 4 great-grandchildren, Noah, Carter, Ellaina and Amelia; brother-in-law Arlen Clauer, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, in West Bend, with Rev. Robert Ullman officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the memorial service. Memorials to Kathy Hospice or Breast Cancer are appreciated.
