Frank Hellenthal Obituary

Hellenthal, Frank Of Waukesha passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by family. He was 87 years old. Frank was born in Holland, MI, on February 14, 1923, a son of the late John and Tina (Funckes) Hellenthal. He married Mary Hoffman on August 31, 1946, and together they raised 3 children. Frank served in the Navy during World War II and worked as a machinist at Waukesha Engine for over 27 years. He was a member of the Waukesha Old Timer's Club. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of over 64 years, Mary; his children, Jack (Charlene) Hellenthal of Muskego and Frank (Debbie) Hellenthal of Pewaukee; and his sisters Hilda Kivet and Bertha Boneck of Holland, MI. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Corinne (Kirk) Blomdahl, Christine (Brian) Henneberry, Cathleen (John) Hockers and Julie (Brandon) Stubblefield, all of Muskego, Lori Amundson of Philadelphia, Michelle (Julius) Carter of Pewaukee and Matthew Hellenthal of Chicago, and his great-grandchildren Carlee, Kyle, Brandon, Jaedyn, Kalleigh, Samantha, Abigail, Justyce, Jordyn, Allyson and Owen; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Ann Marie Amundson. The visitation for Frank will be Thursday, September 16, 2010, from 4 to 7 PM, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 North Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. A second visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010, from 10 AM until the time of the 11:00 AM funeral service at Mount Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1941 Madison Street, Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend Michael Turriff will be officiating. Entombment with full Military Honors will immediately follow in Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
