Dear Peggy and Barrett family,
I just learned today about Jay's passing and I am so sorry and so very sad. What a funny man! I loved seeing him at Elkhart Lake, at Sharpes. Each time I saw him he made me double over in laughter. A devish Irishman he was, with a wonderful sense of humor. I will fondly remember the last time he rode up to our front door at Sharpe's just last summer on his golf cart, and as he drove away, he made an hysterically funny comment. Chris and I laughed and laughed! He will be dearly missed. He was always so nice to me whenever I saw him. I got a huge kick out of him, and I am so sorry for all of you. What a loss!

"Aunt Peggy, I'm sorry for your loss". Growing up my mom always told the story of how Uncle Jay would take Spoofer each week & buy him his own vanilla ice cream cone. The thought of this often made me smile!

To all of the Barrett family and my deepest fondness for Jay. I was always greeted by Jay with a strong handshake and smiling face. Only a week ago I shared a hamburger with him at his home and listened to him tell how much he loved his Peg and how proud he was of his family. I shook his hand when leaving and we laughed. I'll miss him, what a great guy! Love Brad Bilgo and Family
