Aunt Marcella was married to my Uncle Roy. I did not know until now she had passed away so long ago. I am not sure any of us did. She was such a wonderful lady and we all loved her very much

Marcy was dear friend of ours for almost 30 years. We 1st met when she lived on Washington Ave and we were newlyweds two houses down. She graciously came over to meet us and invited us over for many delicious meals. She was such a wonderful hostess! We walked with her as she suffered the loss of her 2nd husband, Bob, who she cared for with tireless devotion, and then to see her suffer another loss of her dear friend, Don, whose company we enjoyed for many years as well. Our children grew up with her in their lives and I'll always remember how our then teenage daughter commented that Marcy was one of those people that are SO interesting to be around, and that you hope you'll be like one day. Although there was over 40 years between us, I never noticed that when I spent time with Marcy. As a nurse myself, we had alot in common and she had lived such an interesting life with all of her travels. We loved hearing about her trips and all the things she did in her long and full life. Although she was never blessed with children of her own, I know that she cared for and loved her nieces and nephews as her own. We will miss her dearly and were so very blessed to know her all of these years. I am so very happy to know that she knew Christ as her Savior and that we will one day be able to share a "neighborhood" in heaven with her again. She enriched our lives with her friendship.
