Upon graduating from Benson Polytechnic High School, Elmer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture at the University of Oregon. Elmer and Linda remained happily married and in love until his passing. Elmer was a kind soul, a devoted family man, a thoughtful professional, a loyal friend, a fisherman, and a Green Bay Packer fan.
