Twining, Rachel Lynne passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. She was born August 5, 2008, in Glenview, CA. Her loving parents are Steven Eugene and Kami Lynne Twining. Rachel had an assertive attitude and a loving nature. She was an energetic girl who laughed often. Rachel enjoyed rocking in rocking chairs, bouncing, dancing, and playing in the grass. She worked her way into the hearts of everyone she met. Rachel is survived by her parents Steven and Kami Twining; grandparents Lowell (Ann Christine) Twining of Atlanta, GA and Brian (Patricia) Klein of Hillman, MI; and great-grandparents Willard Klein, Irene Bennett, and George Bennett all of Hillman, MI. She is further survived by her aunt Amy (Dan) Ardzrooni of Brentwood, CA; uncles Brian, Jr. (Nicole) Klein and Denver (Mandy) Klein, both of Hillman, MI; cousins Darian Klein, Michael Klein, Nathaniel Backman-Klein, Travis and Zachary Ardzrooni, Jeffrey, McKenna, and Allison Klein, and Sydney Klein; and a multitude of extended family and friends. Rachel is preceded in death by her great - grandparents Margaret Klein, Carl (Geneva) Twining, Swen Harold (Alice) Hawkinson, and great - great - grandmother Arda Wicks. A Funeral Service for Rachel will be at 3:30 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Still Waters Community United Methodist Church, 3617 Scenic Rd., in Jackson, with Rev. Dr. Matthew Hadley presiding. Visitation will be from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at the church only and additional visitation will be on Sunday, June 12, 2011, from 2:30 PM until 3:15 PM also at the church. Private interment will be held. Memorials are appreciated to Still Waters Church Nursery or Genetics Fund through the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin ( or Children's Hospital and Health System Foundation, Mail Station 3050, P.O. Box 1997, Milwaukee, WI 53201). Flower deliveries are appreciated directly to Still Waters UMC Church on Saturday by 3:00 PM. The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the medical team at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin who provided her with such great care and Dr. James Bradley of UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital for his care and compassion for Rachel.
