Garrett A. Gorzalski

Notice Condolences

Gorzalski, Garrett A. Passed into Eternity on July 28, 2012. Though family and friends mourn the loss of his radiant smile, twinkling eyes, and fun-loving nature, we will cherish his memory in our hearts forever. Garrett was born in Milwaukee on May 21, 1982. He attended Arizona State University on a full National Merit Scholarship, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2004. Garrett was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He worked as a Computer Systems Engineer and created a glorious life for himself in "The Grand Canyon State". In the opportunity of his lifetime, Garrett backpacked in Europe last summer, visiting his ancestral Poland and several surrounding countries. Garrett was multi-faceted in his love of music and sports as well. He enjoyed season tickets to the Phoenix Opera and loved diversity in music from classical to techno. Sports were another passion and he relished them, both as a participant and spectator. He especially enjoyed his gig as a designated heckler to opposing team members at many ASU games. Garrett is survived by his soul mate, Jessi Pray; his parents, Brian and Jan Gorzalski; his sister, Emily Gorzalski; his godmother, Lois Schmidt; his grandmother, Eve Gorzalski; other relatives, and many beloved friends in Arizona and Wisconsin. Funeral services were held in Tempe, Arizona. A Memorial Mass for Garrett is planned for Friday, August 17, at 11:00 AM, at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W. Forest Home Avenue, in Hales Corners, Wisconsin.
