Teff, James "Jim" LODI-James "Jim" Teff, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on June 15, 1944, in Madison, the son of Luane Bresnahan and Linus Teff. Jim married Carolyn Karceski on September 3, 1966. He spent 34 years as a teacher, coach and administrator in South Milwaukee. Jim was president of the NIAAA board of directors in 1990 and was inducted into the NIAAA's first hall of fame class in 2009. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn, his children, Bryan (Andrea) of Alpena, MI, Derek (Rachel) of Middleton, Doug (Cari) of Monroe and Sarah (Sean) Gaynor of Franklin; nine grandchildren, Collin, Caten, Amelia, Drew, Norah, Troy, Finnian, Beatrice and Gwenyth; his siblings, Michelle Teff, Judy Pazmiño, Pat Noll, Thomas Teff, Michael Teff, Joseph Teff and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a mother-in-law, Eva Karceski. Funeral services will be held at ST. BERNARD'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 17, 2012, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 16, 2012, and also on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
