Kaczkowski, Edward S. "Edziu" "Eddie" Of Greenfield. Born to Eternal Life on Tues., Oct. 23, 2012, at the age of 80 years. Former husband of Angeline for 56 years. Loving father of Jude Kaczkowski (Larisa Shevchuk) and Angela (Jeffrey) Kjorlien. Proud grandfather of Abigail and Eddie Kjorlien. Beloved friend of Nancy Krause. Dear brother of Alfred, Eugene, Robert, Konrad and the late Henry. Also loved and survived by many other relatives and friends. Ed was an original member of the Greenfield Police Department and served on the Department for 24 years. He then continued his Law Enforcement career in the Town of Lisbon. Edward was instrumental in forming the Police Union in Greenfield, fighting tirelessly for the rights of police officers for almost two decades. Visitation will be held on Fri., Oct. 26 from 5-8PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 15250 W. National Ave., New Berlin. Visitation will also be held on Sat., Oct. 27 from 9:00-9:45AM at ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8500 W. Coldspring Rd., Greenfield. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Entombment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Greenfield Police K9 Unit appreciated.
