John R. "Dick" Collentine Notice
Collentine, John R. "Dick" A 65-year resident of Whitefish Bay, was separated from his sweetheart, Mary Elizabeth (nee Kuemmel) and joined his Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at the age of 90. Dick and his sweetheart Mary just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Sunday, February 17. He is patiently waiting for his joyous reunion with her in Heaven. Together, Dick and Mary lovingly raised ten children, Mary Therese (Jerry) Katzer, Judy (the late Kent) Mieding, Colleen (the late Dennis) McBride, Christy (Bill) Bach, Sandy (Ron) Roller, Carey (Frank) Callies, Theresa Hagedorn, Richard G. (Mary Lynn) Collentine, Daniel (Emmett Morris) Collentine and Martha (JP) Rice. Dick was the proud grandfather of 27 grandchildren, five step - grandchildren and 19 great - grandchildren. He is further survived by other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at ST. MONICA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5601 N. Santa Monica Blvd., in Whitefish Bay, on Friday, February 22, from 9:30 AM until the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name may be directed to the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 W. National Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53295 or Fr. Gene's Help Center, 5919 W. National Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53214. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and honorably served his community in the legal profession. "God, Family & Country"
