Scampini, Scott W. Found Eternal Peace after a long battle with mental illness on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at the age of 60. Scott will always be loved and remembered by his beloved wife Mary Lynne Wendt. He was the dearest dad of Mia (James) Moore, Renee Scampini, Becca (Mik) Major, Danielle Scampini and Vinchenzo Scampini. Proud Papa Scooter to William Moore. Brother of Alan (Marilyn) and Brian (Kelly) Scampini. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlo and Carol Scampini. Scott will be further remembered and missed by the Scampini, Wendt and Deters families, countless friends and members of Westmoor Country Club. The family wishes to have friends join them on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Westmoor Country Club, 400 S. Moorland Rd., Brookfield, to celebrate Scott's life starting at 3:30 PM with a Toast to his life at 5:00 PM. Please join the family on Monday, Oct. 7, at 10:30 AM for a Memorial Mass at GESU CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1145 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, in continuance of the celebration of Scott's life. Private inurnment. Scott was a graduate of Marquette University, Class of 1974, School of Business. His graduation lead to a successful business career and a great love for Marquette basketball. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Milwaukee, 3732 W. Wisconsin Ave., Suite 106, Milwaukee, WI 53208 and The Charles E. Kubly Foundation P.O. Box 170284, Milwaukee, WI 53217, a public charity devoted to improving the lives of those affected by depression. "Scott, we will miss your wonderful big personality, your inconsistent golf game, your humor, love of life, charm, generosity and your tremendous devotion and love of your family."
