Mark W. "Coach Mark" Williams

Williams, Mark W. "Coach Mark" Age 88, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at home in Stone Mountain, GA. Mark founded multiple start-up companies. He also worked as an executive at CNA and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). It was while holding a vice president position with BCBS that Mark decided to leave the fast-paced world of insurance to pursue his dream of teaching and coaching college football at Carroll University where he retired in 1992. Coach Mark was born on May 31, 1925 in West Hartford, CT and is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Williams, as well as his children Beth Kostka, Anne Williams, James Williams, and Mark Williams, II. His life will be celebrated at the Country Springs Hotel; Dec. 6, 2013 (6-9pm).
