Caroline Maxim Obituary

Maxim, Caroline L. (Nee Otto ) Entered into Eternal Life at age 97 on May 17, 2014, at Tudor Oaks Retirement Community, Muskego, WI. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 19, 1917 to William C. and Ida E. (Kunkel) Otto. Devoted wife of the late Rayfeld J. Maxim. Beloved mother of Patricia Dallmann, Carolyn (William) Schendel, Cynthia (Melvin) Hemp and Russell Maxim. Proud grandmother to Douglas and Derek (Krissy) Dallmann, Jeanine (Matt) Lindstedt, Joanne (Mike) Rotsch, Andrew (Samantha) Schendel, Allison (Kevin) Schwab, Brian Schafer and Kyle (Ashley) Hemp. Great-grandmother to Josie, Luke, and Blake Lindstedt, Ava, Owen and Elle Rotsch, Natalie and Teddy Schwab and Gavin and Molly Schendel. Dear sister of Margie Engel and sister-in-law of Martha Reynolds. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters Bernice Shand and Elizabeth Borrow, and brothers Norman, Raymond, and twin William. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, at the FUNERAL HOME, from 10 AM until the time of Service at 12 Noon. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith/Santa Fe Lutheran Church where Caroline was a life-long member.
