Although I knew Russ for only a short time, he demonstrated great love for his children, his mother, his brothers and others. He flew me up to Door County for the first time in my life, and we landed on Lake Winnebago and visited EAA on the way! It was an experience I will never forget and thank him for that awesome opportunity. I was saddened to read about the tragedy, but know he left us doing what he enjoyed most. My heart goes out to Robin and Corvan. I will keep the entire family in my prayers.

Dear Kotlarek Family, our family has such fond wonderfull memories of growing up with all of you. (The Zurowski's and Kotlarek's) Though we have all gone our ways with growing up, families of our own and our busy lives, we have thought of you all often and are in our conversations often. We are so grateful for your Mom helping with our Mom and how close they remained over the years. Please know we are thinking of you, praying and sending hugs your way during this very difficult time for you all. May Russ now fly with the angels above and watch over you all with care and love and keeping you safe. He will truly be missed by many and touched so many people in a way no one ever imagined. Robin, Corvan, and Russ' family....we are truly sorry for your loss. Russ will be greatly missed. We are grateful for the wonderful memories he has given us and the opportunity to be Robin's Godparents. May he now fly with the angels.
