Arthur Koch Obituary

Koch, Arthur Age 83, of Oconomowoc was born to Eternal Life June 23, 2015 after a brief stay in hospice. Arthur served in the Navy and received his Master's degree from UW Madison. He taught as a speech professor at MATC for over 20 years, and was the author of several textbooks. He also sang professionally prior to his career in teaching, and subsequently sang with the Florentine Opera Company, Skylight Theatre, and in a variety of opera companies and productions. He was very active in church and charitable causes, particularly those providing need to the poor. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Betty, stepdaughter Debra Gilchrist, stepson Jeremy Stolsmark and his son Carl. He is survived by his sister Joyce Jackson, sons Kai (Nadine) and Christian (Katherine), his stepson Jeffrey (Melissa) Gilchrist as well as his former wife and loving companion Marion (Stolsmark) and stepson Neil (Rocky) Stolsmark. He is additionally survived by many other dear relatives, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a donation to NAMI Waukesha or a charity of your choosing is appreciated. Memorial Visitation to be held July 20, 2015 from 4PM - 6PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 6 PM at Church & Chapel, 380 Bluemound Rd, Waukesha (corner of Hwy J & JJ).
