Gerald Hoefs Obituary

Hoefs, Gerald Joined his wife Sheila (nee Fildes) and his parents, Walter Sr. and Minna (nee Kringel) Hoefs on June 28, 2016 at the age of 84. Gerald was born March 30, 1932. Preceded in death by his sisters Wilma and Doris and his brothers Walter Jr. and Herbert. Gerald will be deeply missed by his children Jeffrey (In), Andrea (Michael), Steven (Teresa), Randall and Kimberly. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Jason, Mary, Nicholas, Cole, Chris, Stephanie, Kenzie, Jin, Zachary and the late Steven Jr. Great-grandpa of Tyler, Curtis and Chloe. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. I would like the memory of me to be a happy one. I would like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I was married to my wonderful wife Sheila for 54 years. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that Sheila and I leave when we are together again. Private family services have been held.
