Jeannine Schaefer Obituary

Schaefer, Jeannine Jeannine "Megan" Schaefer, 76, passed away on April 24th after a brief illness. She was surrounded by friends and family in her final hours. She was a singer, an artist, a poet and a wit. Her life was a musical, bursting into song at the slightest provocation and her wit was infectious. Amongst her extended circles of friends, she was always requested to sing her torch song rendition of "Rubber Ducky" from Sesame Street. She is survived by her daughter Hilary, son David (Kelley), grandchildren Amber (Rob) and Miriam and great-grandchildren Kira and Corwyn. A memorial gathering will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church West (13001 W. North Ave) on June 3rd from 3-7 PM.
