DeBaets, Gerard "Uncle-G" Entered into Eternal Life on December 8, 2007, at the age of 40. Beloved son of the late William J. and Arlene T. (nee Fox) DeBaets. Loving partner and soul mate of the late Wendy Suzanne Heiman. Loving brother of Nadine (Fred) Stoltz, Valerie DeBaets and Greg (Sue) DeBaets. Special uncle of Collin and Leah Stoltz, Sara (Josh) and William and Teresa DeBaets. Great-uncle of Allisa and Mason Smoody. Good buddy of JoJo. Further survived by uncles, aunts, other relatives and many good friends. Gerard was a longtime employee of Quadgraphics. He had a true love for his family and friends. Gerard lived life the Gerard way, doing what he wanted, when he wanted to do it, camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, whitewater rafting, and making cakes in the dutch oven. You will be deeply missed by everyone you have crossed paths with here on this earth. "Gerard we love you, we'll miss you forever and you will always be held in the depths of our hearts." Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, from 4:00PM to 8:00 PM, at Feerick Funeral Home and Saturday, December 15, from 10:00AM to 11:30 AM at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 2490 N. Cramer, corner of Cramer and Bradford, Milwaukee, followed by a service at 11:30AM. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery will be private for the family.
