Stewart Ray Eneix(1940 - 2012)

Stewart Ray Eneix was born on December 5,1940 in King County WA to Earl and Stella (Graham) Eneix. He passed away on December 13,2012 at Virginia Mason Hospital after a brief battle with acute AML (leukemia).
After graduating from Bothell high school, Stew enrolled at Edison Tech and finished a four-year course in just 18 months to become a licensed shipwright. He then moved to Juneau and worked in a boat shop on Thane road. After several years he joined the Local 2247 Carpenters Union and continued with them until his retirement in 1997. He was very proud of his contribution to the infrastructure in Alaska, having worked on many bridges, docks, the pipeline, and commercial buildings throughout the state.
He loved fishing, hunting, bird watching, RV travel to visit family and friends, sitting around the kitchen table talking with neighbors, rebuilding and repairing anything, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Stew leaves behind his wife Beverly, children Steve and Christina, step-children Sean and Jessica, and adopted son Don, and grandchildren, Curtis, Ayana, Victorie, Serena, Clarence, Johanna, and Brianna, his sisters Gloria, Elizibeth, and Patricia, nephews, Bill, Jim, Tim, and Kenny. He was preceded in death by his parents, his niece, Anne, and his nephew Tommy.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
