Alexander Lee Hatzipetros, formerly of Juneau, AK, passed away on January 29, 2018 at the age of 31 in Reisterstown, Maryland.

Alexander is survived by his father, Manos Hatzipetros of Las Vegas, NV; siblings, Gene Cheeseman, Stacey Bjerkeset and her husband Joel, William "Billy" Cheeseman Jr. and his wife Cori, and his twin, Nicholas Hatzipetros; his niece Brianna Avis; his nephews Garret Cheeseman, Kyle Avis, Cole Cheeseman, Jacob Cheeseman, Ethan Bjerkeset and Darren Hatzipetros all of Juneau, AK. He is predeceased by his beloved mother, Donna Lee Tonsgard.

Alexander was born in Anchorage, AK, on July 14, 1986. He attended Juneau-Douglas High School and graduated in 2005. In 2006 he was employed by Costco and worked as a Front End Supervisor.

Alexander was much like his mother in that he enjoyed baking tasty homemade treats for his friends, family and co-workers. He was the person who was always willing to help someone whether learning a new job or if they were locked out of their apartment. He earned the nickname "Uncle Pooky" from his niece and nephews because he was like a giant, real life teddy bear in their eyes. He could often be found playing games, watching TV or making treats with them.

A remembrance for Alexander will be held at the Juneau Christian Center on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 6pm. The family welcomes any of Alexander's friends to attend.

Those unable to attend and who wish to express their condolences can send them to: Stacey Bjerkeset, P.O. Box 35664, Juneau, AK 99803.
