Allen Mill was born 9/13/63 in Juneau, Alaska, and was a lifelong resident.
He passed away on 8/28/17, at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, AK. A Donate Life Flag flew in his honor beginning 8/29/17.
Allen was a kind, gentle and caring person. He attended Juneau Douglas High School, was a licensed Electrician and a member of the IBEW, and he attended and volunteered at the Juneau Christian Church Center. Allen had many skills and was a true handyman who helped many people with numerous projects.
He loved the Seattle Seahawks, cooking, and in recent years he baked for family and friends during the holidays.
Allen was preceded in death by his father A. M. Mill, and is survived by his mother Karen Mill of Juneau; his children Jamie Valois LeDoux of Warren, Massachusetts and Alexander Mill of St. Louis, Missouri, brothers Brent (Dawn) Mill of Wrangell, Ken (Rosemary) Mill of Juneau, sisters Toni Mill-Groves (John) of Anchorage, and Cristin Walker of Juneau, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a memorial from 2:00 to 4:00 Saturday, September 23 at the Tlingit & Haida Community Center, 3235 Hospital Drive.
