Betty Jean Hooper
September 22, 1943 – April 14, 2014

Our beloved mother Betty Hooper passed away, surrounded by family and friends, April 14, 2014, at Saint Elias in Anchorage, AK.
Betty was born to Earnest Hooper and Maxine Keller, in Los Angelas, CA. She graduated from Juneau Douglas High School, class of 1962. She worked for the Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole for the State of Alaska. She retired after 23 years.

She is survived by her siblings Irene Burd and James Hooper. And her four Children, Sheila Harris (Alan) Lee, Lynne (Stan) -Lee, Robert Harris Jr (Shannon) Renton-Harris, James Harris (Michelle) Nappier-Harris. As well as 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Our family has been blessed to be able to see the love and compassion she has for her family and friends. The courage and strength she gave to make a difference in this world to so many.
We will miss you for all eternity.

A celebration of life will be held at Mt. View Senior Center, 895 West 12th St. May 17th, 1:00-3:00 pm. This is a pot luck event. Please feel free to bring a dish and share a memory.
