Bobbye "Lynn" Hildre passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. Her children were by her side. She was 82 years old. Lynn was born August 2, 1934 to Earl and Doris Briehn.

Lynn grew up in the South. She was born in Louisiana, and lived in Bossier City and Shreveport. Lynn graduated from high school in Stamps, Arkansas and attended North Texas State University. She was an adventurer and longed to see the world.

Lynn came to Alaska driving cross country from Arkansas with her grandparents. She came to visit her Aunt and Uncle Nance and fell in love with Alaska. Lynn was a true Alaskan before Alaska became a state. Lynn raised a family in Southeast Alaska
and together with her family she traveled to logging camps all over Southeast building roads. After Lynn's children left home she
pursued a career in Computer Programming and worked an amazing career. She was published in Paperless Publishing for her efforts and many of the computer programs that we use today she beta tested. She was a brilliant programmer and was ahead of her time. In retirement she crewed on fishing charters to be near the ocean she loved. Lynn spent her last few years in Washington and Nevada with her children.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Doris Briehn, daughter, Rhonda Hildre Pasquan, Son in-law Robert Pasquan, and grandson Jefry Neal II.

Lynn is survived by her two children Kris Hildre (Jorja) of Port Angeles, Washington, Dori Chelini (Todd) of Sparks, Nevada.
Lynn "aka Gremlynn" was an only child and was so thrilled to have had 26 grandchildren that she was extremely proud of: Willow Von-Heyer (Karl and Jasper), South Africa, Kyle Boudreau, Juneau, Alaska, Micah Hildre, Port Angeles, Washington, Krista Swanson(Arianna, Kaylin, Cameron), Missoula, Montana, Zac Chelini, Sparks, Nevada, Tori Chelini of Sparks Nevada. Celeste Dyakanof Armstrong (Tristian, Corbin, Calista, Brittney, Amaya, Amira, Audriana, Aaliyah) of Juneau, Alaska, Marc and Monica Dyakanof (Keenan, Kalis,Kyrie) of Murrieta, California, Dylan Lee of Murrieta, California, and her extended family and friends.

In honor of Lynn's memory, there will be a private family gathering at a later date. Lynn will rest at the Shrine of St. Terese in Juneau, Alaska. Donations can be made in Lynn's honor to Hope Community Resources, Jeffry's Hope, 540 W. International Airport road, Anchorage, Alaska 99518.
