Donald Alan Cryts passed away on August 16th in Juneau AK. He was born in St. Louis, MO June 8, 1965. He was preceded in death by his Father Leroy Lee, his Mother Lana Cryts and his Stepfather Jim Cryts. He is survived by his children Jeremiah and Darylann Cryts, "adopted" Daughters Vanessa Early, Felisha Hope and Anela Liborio, Brothers Sean, Jim and Jason Cryts, Sisters Micky Cryts, Carrie Blow, Angela Lee-Jones, Liza Lee, Michelle Maielua and Melissa Lee, "adopted" Sister Leanne Griffin, as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews. Among many other places, Dony lived in Skagway, AK where he was involved with the Fire Department and EMS squad, then moved to Juneau AK where he worked at Bartlett Regional Hospital. He became famous for his Gumbo and was President of the Alaska Local 200 ILWU. He then worked for the State of Alaska Dept. of Transportation. Dony enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
