Donna Dee Stevenson, nee Buckner, 77, passed away from lung cancer on November 24, 2015 in El Mirage, AZ with her family by her side. She was born in Port Angeles, WA in 1938 and moved with her family to Juneau at the age of 9. She married her husband, Robert Stevenson in 1957 and raised her family in Juneau. She and Bob moved to El Mirage, AZ in 2012 due to health issues.
She is survived by her daughters, Monica Butler (Mike), Lisa Goers, (Ralph), Tama Stevenson; daughter-in-law, Ronda Stevenson; grandchildren, Vanessa Gabel (Mike), Miles Parker, Kyle Monti, Sara Parker, LaClair Stevenson, Jacob Stevenson, Laurel Stevenson; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Robbie Gabel, Matthew and Tasha Parker, and Kaydence Monti; siblings, Gordnell Tyler (Bobbie) and Roxanna Felkl (Fred).
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L Stevenson (Bob), son, Robert A Stevenson (Robbie), brother, Frank R Buckner (Rick), niece, Cheryl Tyler, and parents, Frank and Elsie Buckner.
Over the years Donna worked as an accountant for many local firms including, Molitor, Doremus and Hanlin, CPA's, Don Abel Building Supply, and Evergreen Ford. For fun she enjoyed family picnics at the beach, fishing on the family boat, the Ranger, and hosting family celebrations at her home whether it was a birthday party, Fourth of July or Christmas. Both family and friends were always welcome in her home and friends quickly became part of her extended family.
