Evelyn "Evie" Catherine (Avelino) Heath
Evelyn "Evie" Catherine (Avelino) Heath, also known as Evie Smith, of Graham, Wash. died Sept. 10, 2011. She was 77.
She was born Sept. 2, 1934 in Wrangell. and married Arnold Heath. She worked for SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). She resided in Alaska, Georgia, Hawaii and Washington state during her life. She loved to bake, make jewelry, arts and crafts, singing, outdoor activities and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Arnold Heath; sons Tony (Geni) Provencio, "Firpo" Smith, Henry Huff, Carlos (Sheila) Huff, Patrick Smith and Greg Heath; daughters Carol Smith, Terri Jarneski, Delrene Lundgren and Rita (Makani) Miller; sister Katherine Davis of Kake; and many other family members.
A celebration of life will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Richardson's Beach Park in Hilo, Hawaii.
