He was born on the 26th of September 1964 at St. Ann's Hospital in Juneau, AK, and walked into the woods in Ketchikan, on the 7th of April, 2018. Gary Bell a loved, and loving Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew and Cousin. Gary was a teacher who loved kids a fisherman, A.N.G. Vet, a merchant seaman, charter boat skipper, and more.

He is preceded in death by his son, Douglas; sister Cheryl; uncle John; grandparents Tex & Dottie White, Bill Bell & Vera Porter; and way too many friends.
Gary is survived by his son Jonas; his folks Barb & Dennis; sister Donna; brother Kevin and his wife, Angela; life partner Samantha Coronell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephews, and friends.

A Memorial at Douglas Community United Methodist Church will be held at 1PM, May 6th. A potluck style Celebration of Life will be at Shelter #2, Sandy Beach, at 2:30pm May 6th.
