May 20,1968 - December 10, 2015

Jamison Douglas Clark passed away peacefully on December 10, 2015.

Jamie was known by all to be a kind and generous person, always willing to lend a hand or be a friend. He showed artistic talent at the age of three and enjoyed ceramics and painting as an avocation.

While a student at University of Alaska, Southeast, Jamie worked on the Mendenhall Glacier, accessible by helicopter, as a loader and guide informing visitors about the area, the ice and the geology around them. His 20 year career with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, included: processing biological samples; extraction of wire tags to ascertain catch information for sport and commercial fishers; creating and cataloging data about hatchery and escapement returns including field work at Cook Inlet and Redoudt and Baranof Lakes. As time permitted, Jamie assisted in the Steelhead and Cutthroat Trout Scales and Otolith Study.

True to his Alaskan spirit, he enjoyed working and playing in the outdoors.

Jamie's family and friends will remember his helpfulness, empathetic touch and the sensitivity of a sincere man who believed in living life simply.

He is survived by his parents, Earl and Marilyn Clark, his brothers Christopher (Nicole) Clark and Alexander Clark, his nephew, Nathan Clark, two favorite aunts, Bobbie and Caroll, and a favorite uncle, David, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held on May 21, 2016, at Faith Lutheran Church, 382 Cedar Street, Sequim, WA at 2 pm. Well-wishes and fond remembrances can be found on www.sequimvalleychapel.com.
