Larry Dela Rosa Bernaldo was granted his angel wings on December 5, 2011. His final day was spent surrounded by his loving wife Margie Bernaldo & beloved families that he had touched throughout his life.

Larry was born on December 31, 1951 in Lezo Aklan, Philippines. He arrived in Juneau, Alaska in 1969 and worked at Baranof Hotel for a year. He moved to Petersburg, Alaska in 1970 where he met his first wife and had their 3 children, Brian, Gene & Sharlene.

He was one of the nine children to the late Jaime & Elena Bernaldo.

Larry touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. He loved listening to music, laughing, spending quality time and having fun with his family and friends. He was an active member of the Filipino Community.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Bernaldo of Juneau, Alaska. Devoted brothers & sisters: Lourdes Skeek, Lolita Tagaban, both of Petersburg, Alaska; Teodosia Cipriano, Nerio Bernaldo, Myrna Gonzales, Francisco Bernaldo, Joseph Bernaldo, & Marlie Agustin, all of Juneau, Alaska. Beloved children, Brian, Gene & Sharlene Bernalndo. His Aunt, Teodora R. Gomez & Uncle, Miguel Dela Rosa both of Philippines, along with countless Aunties, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews from the Philippines and many friends whom were blessed to know him.

Larry will be sorely missed, never forgotten and his character will live on. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16.

Viewing and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 10 at St. Paul Catholic Church at 10am to 12 noon, mass service will follow at 12 noon; reception to follow at St. Peter's Parish Hall.
