Li-Teh was born May 6, 1977 to Willie and Pamela A.V. Whitefogg in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated high school and had moved to Alaska in 1994 living first in Juneau and then Anchorage.

"She enjoyed music and poetry and was known to the entertainment world as "Lady Tay." A rising star has dimmed; a large and open heart has been shattered. Li-Teh loved people and always wanted to help everyone who called out to her. She was an avid sports enthusiast and took part in all she could. Li-Teh loved writing poetry and setting the words to music and designing her own beats. Now her music will not be heard, her outstretched arms and love will not embrace anymore. One single shotgun blast ended all of that. One single blast took my daughter, our sister, aunt, and niece and shattered a family. One blast of hatred took her from us, prematurely. For us the light of the rising star has gone on, only to shine bright in Heaven. Rest in peace my darling daughter, we love and miss you painfully," wrote her mother.

Li-Teh was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. T.H. Jacobs, Sr.

Fogg of Anchorage, AK, Toriana Fogg of Juneau, AK, Antonia Fogg of Juneau, AK, Kiana Fogg of NY, Kiara Fogg of PA, Ebony Thompson of WA, Aja Thompson of WA, Ilani Fogg of PA, Imani Fogg of PA, Alexandria Thompson of WA and Shalicea Thompson of WA; nephew, K.J.
