October 13, 1927 – June 20, 2015

Lillian Patterson a Tlingit Raven/Coho from the Whale House at Dry Bay, is now peacefully asleep in death awaiting the resurrection. Her stay with us started on October 13, 1927 until June 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her Mother Eva Anderson (Gamble) and father, Frank Gamble, also her brothers Walter and Charles Gamble, her sons Walter Gamble and Joseph Patterson and her daughter Ada Marie Patterson. She is survived by her children Howard Patterson (Kathy), Barbara Terry Jones (Randolph), Patricia Perez (Adan), Michael Patterson, Douglas Patterson (Vanda), Carrie Cruise, Joann Patterson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren all of whom she was very proud of. Lillian retired from State of Alaska, Department of Revenue. She made close friends at her place of employment and loved her job. Lillian was a very generous person who loved her dogs just like her children and grandchildren. For years Lillian was busy knitting beautiful, creative blankets, hats, leg warmers and sweaters for babies and adults as gifts. She was an avid shopper always shopping for unique items, not for herself, but buying gifts to be given to people. She enjoyed having family and friends visit and especially loved it when her house was full of family and friends visiting together. Other things that she enjoyed were traveling, and going to Celebration every other year. There is a celebration of life for Lillian on June 28 at Auke Rec where her father's people are from.

There will also be a memorial held at her place of worship on July 12 at 2:00. The address is 2517 Teslin Drive at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. We encourage all who would like to pay her respects to please come.
