I was always made to smile when I would see Marilyn on the street or shopping. Will greatly miss her. I also loved driving by her residence on Lemon Creek Rd and seeing the family enjoying a summer day in their yard.

My condolences to the family, to this day I still credit Marilyn as one of the main reasons I graduated HS, as mentioned above in her obituary I was one of the students she dedicated so much time to. She always helped me and pushed me to make sure that I was on track, as I was always easily strayed. She will be missed as a great educator and an even better friend. - Josh Miller JDHS Class of 2001 thanks to her :)

Dearest Ted and family,
Marilyn was a staunch and worthy advocate for so many of our high school students who needed someone to see them and value them. As a JOM Counselor, Marilyn's compassion and wisdom strengthened and guided students through rocky terrain. She was missed by many when she retired, students and parents alike.
We pray God's peace, comfort, and strength for the Wieting/Cesar family. Know that your wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend holds a special place and prayer in our hearts. We will miss her humor and her hugs.
