Nancy Ann Kolvig, 76, Salt Springs, Fla., died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at an Ocala, Fla., Hospice.

Nancy's ashes will be taken to Juneau and scattered at her favorite cove, along with her mother's ashes.

She was born Sept. 29, 1941, to Stiles and Gwendolyn Ewig Meyers. At the age of 16 she met Robert W. Kolvig (Bob) and they were married 4 years later on July 4, 1961, in Bridgeport, Conn. Bob was in the Army so they traveled the world and all over the US. When Bob retired from the Army they moved to Juneau and eventually divided their time between Juneau and Salt Springs.

Nancy graduated from Cameron University with an RN degree and worked in Southwestern Hospital's Emergency Room and for the Taliaferro Mental Health Clinic Crisis Intervention Team, both in Lawton, OK, as well as many years at Juneau's Bartlett Regional Hospital Head Recovery and as an ER nurse. She was an RN most of her life and loved helping people.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband; son, Robert J Kolvig and wife Erann Kalwara, Juneau; daughter, Lisa Bridges and husband Jon, Oklahoma City; daughter, Kimberly Kolvig and husband, Eric Lundborg, Juneau; her adored grandsons Dylan and Dalton Kolvig and Christian and Kyle Gould; and great-grandson Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Levine; and brothers, Stiles Meyers Jr. and William Meyers.

As per Nancy's wishes, there will not be a service, just a private family gathering to spread her ashes.
