Paul Fenton Bennett, "Gooní" (Kiks.adi) passed away on September 12, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born to Arlene and Gerald Bennett Sr. in Juneau on September 15, 1985. Paul was only 28 years old. Paul was also known as "Scooter", "The Big Show", "Uncle Hulk", "Pauly" and "The uncle".

He was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska where he lived all of his life. He attended Juneau Douglas High School and graduated with his diploma in 2007. Paul held various jobs around town; starting with a cruise line washing tour guide boats; then moving on to Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority where he was hired by Keith Bell as a Laborer. Paul was later employed at Mount Roberts Tramway where he started off as a Prep Cook and returned each new season. His last job was working with his friends at Bullwinkle's where he started as a dishwasher and worked up to a Prep Cook.

Paul was always available for his family and friends if they ever needed a helping hand. He loved playing basketball so much he coordinated his city league team each year. He also enjoyed grilling for dinners that brought his family together. He had a big heart for everyone and always put others before himself.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Kelly & Betty James, Ronald & Elsie John, Joe Bennett Sr., Martha Jackson and Mary Johnson, uncle Joe Bennett Jr., aunties Thelma James, Joyce James and Wilma Bennett, cousins Davina Jackson and Russell James Jr.; along with other numerous family members.

He is survived by his parents Gerald & Arlene Bennett Sr., siblings JR, Charlie, Stevie, Denise (Ray Kitka), William and Geralynn, nieces Tonie, Jamie, Carrie, Marjorie, Natalie, Jordan, Leila and nephew Justin, grandchildren Natalia & Austin, grandmother Alice Bennett; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank everyone for their food and monetary donations, phone calls and dropping by to visit.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Glacier Valley Church of God at 8497 Thunder Mountain Road. A reception will follow.
