Philip Sellick lost his battle with cancer September 4, 2014. He is survived by son Philip of Juneau, AK, daughter Kelley and grandson Keaton of Gig Harbor, WA, sister Mary Lynn (Jerry) of Prince George County, VA, sister Martha (Dan) of Salisbury, MD, brother Samuel (Wendy) of Juneau, AK, sister Ruth (Gilbert) of Salisbury, MD, sister Lois of Salisbury, MD and dearest friend Kim of Juneau, AK.

Phil was born in Virginia. He came to Alaska in 1986 and worked in the Juneau school district for many years. Phil loved hunting, fishing, scuba diving, painting and making dioramas. His giving nature made him easy to love. He made friends everywhere he went. We will never be the same without him.

Friends joined the family in Phil's Celebration of Life at Thunder Mountain Commons, 5:30pm Tuesday September 9. Cards can be sent in care of 4453 Dredge Lake Rd. Juneau, AK 99801 or a post in the online guestbook.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice & Home Care of Juneau, 419 6th Street, Juneau, AK 99801.
