Rodney age 60, beloved husband and brother passed away peacefully Sunday, November 1, 2015. Rodney was born in Seattle, Washington, after his mother passed he returned to Juneau, Alaska, where he grew up in what was known as the Johnson Home. Alaska was a mainstay in Rodney's heart and he looked forward to returning one more time.
Rodney ultimately ended up in Cuba, New Mexico where he resided with his wife and soulmate Genevie.
Rodney has left a legacy with Genevie's family; it was his family. He loved children and cared for many of his nieces and nephews liked they were his own. His love will forever live in their hearts. Rodney was loved by all of Genevie's family, his humor and character will forever bring smiles upon their faces.
Rodney was preceded in passing by his paternal parents Betty, and Richard Franzen and brother's Norman and Michael. He was also preceded in passing by Genevie's parents Tom and MaryJane who took Rodney into the family as their own son. Rodney is survived by his loving wife Genevie Franzen and brothers Gary and Dennis Franzen.
Rodney was surrounded by his family as he peacefully passed on November 1, 2015. Rodney was laid to rest on Friday November 6, 2015 at the Jesus Mission in Torren, NM.
