Steven Ryan Lee died in a tragic automobile accident May 21, 2011. He was born on March 21, 1989, and was 22 yrs old at the time of the accident. He was raised in Auburn, Washington and moved to Juneau in January.

He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Federal Way, Washington. He worked for his brother, Stan, Jr. at the Tesoro gas station in Juneau since January 2011.

Steven's hobbies were computer, music and photography, and you would often see him drinking a Green Monster. Steven loved to hang out at the Eagles and drink coffee and share stories. No matter when the coffee had been made, he would always tip them $5.00 to make a fresh pot. He was known as the "coffee kid." He was always ready to help you or offer a safe ride home if you had too much to drink. Steven was always giving to people without expectations or motivations. He had an infectious personality and a great story to tell. Not many people knew that Steven had a back injury and was always in pain. He never complained.

If you knew Steve, then you were HUGGED! He never failed to give you a hug when you left his presence.

He is survived by his parents, Stan and Brenda Lee of Auburn, Washington; his brothers, Stan, Jr. of Juneau, Alaska and Thomas of Renton, Washington; one sister, Wendi Gregiore of Chehalis, Washington. He has so many family members that it would have been too long to list.

There will be a "Celebration of Life" buffet held at the Prospector Restaurant on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 8am to noon for family and friends. We request that you bring a Steven-size appetite, pictures and stories to share.

He will greatly be missed by all because of the joy that he brought to each and every one of us. R.I.P. Steve, you will be missed my son, my brother, my friend! We love you to the moon and back!!!

A special thanks to the community of Alaska Airlines who helped make Steven's family here and from Washington feel so loved and welcomed. This is a very hard time and you all made it easier for us. You have shown us that Steven's spirit is living within the community. Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shown.

Family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Memorial Fund for Steven Lee at Key Bank of Alaska. Thank you and God Bless.
