Juneau resident Barbara Joannah Williams died July 29, 2011 at Juneau Wildflower Court. She will be met by her sister Lisa Janine Williams, grandparents David and Mamie Williams; David and Minnie Morgan, great-grandparents Scotty and Jessie Martin, James W and Mary Brown, great-great-grandparents John A and Maria Kelly,
Peter and Mary Brown and step grandfather Israel Stevens, Step great-grandfather Joe B Collier, George Wilson and George Betts.
Barbara was born June 12, 1963 in Juneau Alaska to David and Jeanette Williams, she is Wolf/Eagle, Daklawedi, Killer Whale Fin House from Haines a child of Raven, Tak Dein Taan Raven Nest House from Hoonah.
Barbara loved to play chess, sew, cook, dance-especially ballet, camping and backpacking, play her grandma Minnie's piano with her brother David. At the Haines Fair she won first and second place in basket weaving and doll clothes sewing. In high school she was the top in her class.
Barbara was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She was cherished by saints in Anchorage, Ketchikan and Juneau.
Special to Barbara was Ted and Marthy Johnson of Anchorage.
Barbara is survived by her parents David and Jeanette Williams, brothers David (and Ginger) of Lakeland, Florida, Luke of Anchorage, Joel (and Tanya) of Juneau and sister Leah (and Eran) of Hoonah, nieces: Corin, Brianna, Ravyn, Savannah, Jasmine and Camille, and nephews: Davey, Trey, Devin and Kyle.
Barbara's uncles are Joseph E, Melvin K, Walter R and Arnold G Williams. Aunts are Charlotte A, Loretta J, Genevieve M, Carol F, Christina M, Donna Jean and Kathleen J Lorenz.
