Larry "Brandon" Blatnick, Jr. (1984-2012)
On August 14, 2012 the life of Brandon was tragically taken from us in a motorcycle accident in Juneau, AK. Our hearts are empty.
Larry "Brandon" Blatnick, Jr. was born in Carmichael, California on December 16, 1984.
Brandon attended Denali Elementary School in Anchorage, before moving to Juneau and attending Juneau-Douglas High School and Yaakcosge Alternative High School.
His passions were anchored to the great outdoors; skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, camping and fishing. When he was inside, he always enjoyed eating glazed donuts and video games.
He is survived by his parents; mother, Sharon Powers, her partner Glenn Mitchell, and father, Larry Blatnick, Sr.
Siblings; Matthew Blatnick; Lamar, Marlla and Marilla Cabrigas-Blatnick.
In addition to his immediate family he is survived by great grandparents; Rolf & Agnes Stormer of CA and grandfather; Gene Powers of CA.
Aunts and Uncles; Tracy Mulvihill of CA, Kim & Rocky Horton of HI, Linda & Bill Combs of CA, Steve & Lori Powers of CA. Cousins: Jennifer Mulvihill; Stephanie & Doug Gordon, Craig & Brian Powers; Erika, Stomer & Mia Horton
Preceded in death by other loved ones; grandparents; Larry & Arleen Blatnick, Betty Powers and Uncle Patrick Mulvihill. Also left behind are many, many friends.
Services will be held Thursday, August 23rd at 5:30 pm at the Juneau Church of Christ 8755 Trinity Drive followed by a reception celebrating the life of someone special.
The family requests that In lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Larry Brandon Blatnick, Jr. Memorial Fund at Alaska USA Credit Union.
