'Alifeleti F. Tupou, 77, passed away on May 2, 2013, at home surrounded by family. Born March 13, 1936 in 'Utulau, Tonga to Sione and Fanaafi Tupou. He married Leonita ('Ita'aehau), June 9, 1961. They immigrated to the US in 1993, and made Juneau home. In Tonga, he farmed his own land and worked for Liahona High School. In Juneau, he worked for Gastineau Humane Society until his retirement in 2011. He spent most of summers fishing at Fish Creek or Dipac. The gospel of Jesus Christ brought him great joy as he served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Predeceased in death are his parents and brother Sione Tupou.
He leaves behind, his wife, Leonita and children: Uini-Juneau, Haipo (Taniela) Save -New Zealand, Kanoe (Latima) Toutaiolepo-Juneau, Mekisita (Halatono)-Tonga, Matakaiongo (Jacqueline)-Juneau, and Leitoni (Cecily)-Craig. Grandchildren- 'Ema, Nita, Emeline, & Frances-New Zealand, Mahina, Vaipuna, Meki , Talita, Kaylani, Matakaiongo, Ricky, & Vance-Juneau, Kanoe, Luke, & Leitoni-Craig. Numerous nephews and nieces in the US, New Zealand, Australia and Tonga.
Viewing May 5th at 6:00pm at AK Memorial Home. Services May 6th at 1:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
