Marian Fisher Obituary

FISHER, MARIAN F.
Kalamazoo

Marian, age 87, passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence on Thursday, August 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Fisher, in 2003 and son, Marc Fisher, in 2013. Surviving are her son, Kent Fisher and wife, Deborah of Mattawan; grandson, Sebastian and wife, Samantha of Columbus, OH; grandson, Noah and wife, Christina of Portage; and three great-grandchildren. Marian was a lovely woman who enjoyed being social and active. She was an avid league bowler into her eighties, loved Theater and Musicals and drove her cherished car somewhere fun every day. Marian had friends, some were new and many were lifelong, with whom she shared her generous heart and beautiful smile. Her enthusiasm for life never wavered and was a great comfort to her loving family and friends. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or memorial service. Private inurnment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. The family requests no flowers. Contributions in Marian's memory may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, Loaves and Fishes, The Herman and Rose Fisher Library at the Congregation of Moses or charity of choice.
