I did not know Helen, But the moment I saw her beautiful face I knew I had to say something. Such a stunning lady and so elegantly dressed. They way thing were supposed to, be in her days. I love her smile speaks volumes, about a happy life time and of her blessed family, and I love her hat.. she is she someone I would have loved to learn from and to know. So sorry for you loss.

I met Helen so many years ago at Spring Manor. I let a workman I to the apartment not thinking they were there and they were napping in the living room on lawn chairs. She told me they were having a "happy hour". We had so much fun dancing at the VFW with them on Friday nights where they stayed until the very last dance. I once mentioned to Fred that "who knew we could have so much fun with old people". I will miss her grand way of setting a table, her humor, her love of people. She was one of a kind.
