Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel, with burial to follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

Caudell, Cynthia LaVaun - Wichita  
Caudell, Cynthia LaVaun 61, passed on June 22, 2016, after a brave battle with cancer. Cindy was born on April 5, 1955, to John and Wanda Wollis in Pittsburgh, KS. She was raised by John and her stepmother, Velma Wollis in Wichita, KS. Cindy is survived by her three sons, Shawn (Rebecca) Nimmo, Chad Nimmo and Jason (Crystal) Welch; her parents, John and Velma Wollis; and seven grandchildren. Cindy is preceded in death by her birth mother, Wanda Smith, and her companion of twenty years, Mike Payton, who also passed on June 22. 2016. Memorial services for Cindy and Mike will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Faith Community Church, 1750. Gow, Wichita.

Cummings, Donald Eugene U.S. Air Force Veteran, died June 23, 2016 in Wichita, KS, at the age of 86. He was born November 25, 1929 in Purcell, KS, to Everett H. and Marguerite (Barry) Cummings. He retired from A.O. Smith as a shipper. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen; sister, Ilene Davis; and two brothers, Maurice and Everett Cummings. Survivors include a stepson, Mike (Rhonda) Casey; stepdaughters, Vicky (Roy) Lewis, Donna and Karen Cummings; brother, Robert (Thelma) Cummings; two sisters, Patricia Turner and Shirley; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Hucke, Christine "Chris" Louise (Hickman) 87, formerly of Valley Center and Whitewater, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday morning, June 23, 2016, in Wichita. She was born in Coffeyville in 1929, to Orville and Hazel (Keyes) Hickman. Chris loved music, laughter and family. She enjoyed every moment ministering and helping others find "joy in the Lord". She is survived by her children, Larry and Laurie Hucke, Linda Held, all of Wichita, Lori and Bruce Frazier of Leon; grandchildren, Matti, Dalton and Hudson Held; sister-in-law, Rosalee Allen of Springtown, TX; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Orville; mother, Hazel; stepfather, Leroy B. Allen; and brother, Kenneth Allen. Payton, Michael N. - Wichita  
Payton, Michael N. Mike was a dearly loved father, grandfather, brother and companion. He passed away at home, at the age of 62 on June 22, 2016. Mike was born on July 11, 1953, to Wavil and Betty Payton in Mayfield, KY. The family moved to Wichita when Mike was 7. He lived the rest of his life in Wichita, the past 31 years working as a Purchasing Manager for Sigma Distributing. He was preceded in death by his parents as well a loving companion, Cynthia Caudell who also passed away on June 22, 2016. Mike is survived by one daughter, Kami Payton; grandchildren, Lylee and Colin of Bentonville, AR; brothers, Roger and Kenneth Payton; sister, Regina Lathrom, all of Wichita. Celebration of Life memorial service will be held for Mike and Cindy at 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Faith Community Church, 1750 N. Gow, Wichita. Swenson, LaVern Albin - Wichita  
Swenson, LaVern Albin 77, retired production welder after 31 years from J.I. Case, passed away June 25, 2016. LaVern loved square dancing, traveling across the country in the RV, and auto racing. He was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Ireta Swenson. LaVern is survived by wife of 49 years, Carolyn; son, Darryl L. Swenson; daughter, Shellee Swenson; brothers, Leland (Genie) Swenson and Carroll (Christine) Swenson; sister, Kathy (Neil) Dunn; grandson, Christian Stout; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, family, and friends. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, at Resthaven Mortuary.
