Gamble, Herbert Earl, Jr., 88, died October 3, 2012. He was born in Montezuma Kansas on July 8, 1924. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Verna of Wichita; daughters, Jean (Glenn) Burris of Jefferson, OR, Pamela (Bill) Gmaz of Russellville, AR, Sherry (Matthew) Livingston of Wichita, Melanie (Eric) Henry of Edmond, OK; son, Steve (Mariann) Gamble of Wichita; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Herbert served in the 757 Tank Battalion, 5th Army in WWII from 1943-1945. He retired from Excel Corp. after 34 years. Visitation will be Sunday 1-5; services Monday, October 08, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Both with Lakeview Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to RiverWalk Church of Christ Mission Fund, 225 N. Waco Street, Wichita, KS 67202. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, I know you loved Herb dearly. Be comforted he's in the arms of Jesus and he IS in your future. We are right across the street if you need anything. We'll be praying for your comfort & peace.

Verna, sorry about Uncle Herb as He was your's since your young days. He was always special Uncle to me. He cared so much for his family no matter what. Love you & your family. Praying for comfort & strength for everyone.
